NERVE ULTRASOUND

Nerve ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technology used to visualize nerves and evaluate their health. This technology uses high-frequency sound waves to create detailed images of nerves and surrounding tissue. Ultrasound of the nerve can help identify problems such as injury, inflammation, or tumors that may be causing symptoms such as pain, weakness, or numbness. This technology is safe, painless and does not use radiation. Therefore it is a very valuable tool for nerve evaluation. However, it should be used in conjunction with clinical and neurophysiological evaluation.
