Motion analysis is a test that uses complex technology and measurement tools to analyze the way a person moves. This analysis can help analyze problems such as muscle weakness, loss of balance, or malformation of a structure. In the context of movement analysis, gait analysis allows the study of problems affecting walking. The examination is often performed in a clinical setting under the supervision of a qualified physician and may include the use of sensors, cameras, force plates, surface electrodes. The exam is totally non-invasive and can be used to develop personalized rehabilitation programs.
